There is value in discerning the difference between an anointing and an opportunity. Especially when we find ourselves in difficult circumstances that bring a lack of resources we tend to go for the first opportunity that comes our way. This makes good worldly sense, but oftentimes when we do this we miss the anointing God has for us…the REAL opportunity. Sometimes we have to wait a little longer, trust a little deeper, and be still a bit more to discern the difference between an anointing and and opportunity. This is living out of faith.

1 John 2:27
“But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything—and is true and is no lie, just as it has taught you—abide in him.”

Romans 4:22
“That is why his faith was counted to him as righteousness.”
